The Cat Who Ate the Moon
There was once a cat named Pepper who was always hungry. She ate her dinner, and then she ate the dog's dinner, and then she looked up at the sky and saw something round and white and shining.
So she climbed the tallest tree in the garden and she ate the moon too.
Everyone was very cross about it. But Pepper glowed in the dark after that, which turned out to be useful for finding your way to the bathroom at night, so in the end nobody really minded.
